Fly Between the Buildings with Yokohama Air Cabin

Ferris Wheel Cosmo Clock 21 at night in Yokohama

Yokohama is the second biggest city in Japan (it’s not Osaka!), about 30 minutes train ride away from Tokyo. It is still developing and expanding, each time you visit Yokohama, you will encounter its new faces and lately, a new city attraction appeared, it’s Yokohama Air Cabin, a rope way flying over the canals and between the buildings!

Yokohama is a city facing the sea, and one of the island with a shopping mall, museum, theme park didn’t have an access with trains. Then, this city ropeway has been established, it connects between Sakuragicho railway station and Canal Park (Unga Park) at the foot of the shopping mall Yokohama World Porters.

It is a five minutes ride between the two stations, the fascinating part is you can actually fly over the canals overlooking the sea. The buildings are on your right and left, a symbol of Yokohama, Ferris Wheel Cosmo Clock Tower 21 is turning in front of you. This would be the most unique and exciting experience you would never find in any other part of the world!

The important part is, this is actually the city’s public transportation. Thanks to the ropeway, you don’t have to walk a long way to the shopping mall or other facilities such as a event venue Red Brick Warehouse, Cupnoodles Museum in Yokohama, and Yokohama Cosmoworld with the Ferris wheel.
